In the heart of the town center lies this charming white 16th century church that was built by a really grateful sailor, Antoni Caixa, who wanted to thank the Virgen del Socorro, or better known as the Virgin Mary, for saving him in a shipwreck. It really is a testament to how everything in this little town is somehow fishing related.
