About this place

Just a 15 minute train ride away (or a 4 hour hike) from Castelldefels is the charming coastal town of Sitges that’s known for its international film festival and being the LGBTQ capital of Spain.

What to do

  • Head to Plaça de la Vila and look out for the beautiful clock tower Casa del Reloj.
  • Have a beach day at the Platja de Sant Sebastià. 
  • Tour the Bacardi House (yup, the founder was from Sitges)
  • Go bar hopping at Calle del Primero or the Sin Street as they call it.

  • Check out the Church of Sant Bartomeu and Santa Tecla.
  • Explore the fishing narrow streets behind the Church of St. Bartomeu
  • Go mansion shopping along the Paseo Marítimo ;)
  • Go to the Palau Maricel
  • Walk the prettiest street called Calle de la Davallada Marvel at the white and blue painted houses, balconies full of geraniums, and the cobblestone streets in the Old Town ‘Casco Antiguo’.

  • Get there early.
