Ciutadella park

About this place

Originally created as a military citadel to be able to better control the people of Barcelona, it was later converted into a park so that they could get a breath of fresh air in the industrial city. Nowadays, it’s the ideal place for a family picnic, a ping-pong game with friends, or a romantic rowboat date on a lake.

Top Tip

Pick up some of the best croissants you’ll ever try at Pastisseria Hoffman down the road then take them to the park :)
